Vincenzo is a master class in rib-tickling comedy, adrenaline-pumping action, gut wrenching suspense, edge-of-the-seat thrills, poignant drama, and heart fluttering romance—a masterpiece crafted in the utmost perfection manner! This show is undoubtedly one of the best KDramas in history! It was wrapped with layers of brilliant writing, groundbreaking plot, enthralling twists and turns, exceptional acting prowess, and significant lessons. This show is definitely a mixed bag of heartwarming moments, hilarious comedy, and nerve wracking scenes. It was an exquisite fusion of dark and comedy genre that turned out unexpectedly tugging at my heartstrings. Vincezo is a high-octane, mind blowing, praiseworthy, and remarkable piece of art. An entertainment taken to another level! Beyond greatness!

From the moment this show started, I know that it will become a smash hit. The storyline is fresh and unique. And the blend of comedy and dark genre of this show is something commendable. It put me in a one hell of a ride! It was overflowing with all the shades of emotions. It made me laugh really hard, it also made my jaw dropped from the astonishing action sequences, and made my heart melt from the slow burn romance. Jam packed!

If there is one thing that I found extremely surprising about this show is the way it pull at my heartstrings. I never imagined that it will turn out highly emotional. It can really induce both laughter and tears from the audience. I wasn’t expecting it to warm and touch my heart. It definitely left a huge impression in my heart!

One of the greatest suits of this show is its spectacular and powerful cast line up. This is the first-ever KDrama that I’ve watched with a lot of characters but I never find it confusing. Each of them did an excellent job in portraying their roles. Each of them left a mark inside my heart. All of them crept in to my system. I will surely remember all of them from the main leads, supporting cast, and even the antagonists. Their bond is something special that you will never find to any series. This KDrama is one of the shows that has the most caliber and top of the notch actors. They all deserve an applause! No matter how I want to talk all about them, they are too many so I will just give honor to our main leads below:

Song Joong Ki as Vincenzo Cassano / Park Joo hyung

This is one of Song Joong Ki’s greatest performances in his discography! He gave all his best and it resulted to an astonishing performance. He showed his extreme versatility in this show. From drama, romance, action, thriller, and even comedy—he can flawlessly pull off any role and genre! His portrayal for Vincenzo is an experience that is highly unforgettable. For the past 4 years, majority of the remarkable characters are female and now, Song Joong Ki made Vincenzo a memorable fictional character. This role seems like tailor-made for him. It suits him perfectly. I can’t imagine this show without him in the titular role. Kudos!

Jeon Yeo Been as Hong Cha Young

It is my first time to se her in my screen. I admit that I used to underestimate her abilities. But after watching this show, I can’t help myself but admire her and her craft. Even if she is just starting her career, I can say that she will have a bright future in this industry. She is a promising actress that has a lot more to offer. She still more under her belt. She pulled off her role in the most hilarious and compelling way. She is indeed one of the future top actresses of South Korea!

The technical aspect of this series is definitely pitch perfect. The cinematography is superb, the visual effects are eye-popping, and the production is undeniably grand! Every shots are like a picture-perfect book. And the CGI used in this show is extremely ethereal! This 20 episode series gave the audience a stellar cinematic experience!

I’ve been watching KDramas for a couple of years already and I must say that Vincenzo has one of the most brutal and spine-tingling finale episode. Thanks to its immensely evil killings that gave me nightmares. The killings that happened in this show are indeed one of the most remarkable in KDrama history. They are very dark and made me gasp for air. [SPOILER ALERT] Especially the death of Choi Myung Hee. When Vincenzo told her that she is going to dance until she die sent shivers down to my spine. When he set the place on fire and she started to scream from extreme pain and make dance-like movements while being accompanied by an upbeat and goosebumps-inducing song had me at the edge of my seat.[END OF SPOILER]

“Regret is the most painful thing you can experience in life.”

“Ignorance isn’t a sin but refusing to learn is.”

“To find a true friend is like finding a treasure.”

“Your best source of protection isn’t a gun or a sword. It’s your brain.”

“Do what you do best. That’s what you can do to help the world.”

Vincenzo is a scintillating, rip-roaring, and a solid entertainment! The riveting plot, impressively kinetic action sequences, and stirring performances made this show one that you shouldn’t missed! The gripping and intense atmosphere are perfectly combined. This show will make you feel a wide range of emotions. It is a wonderful gem of a drama filled with great comedic moments and powerful acting. This series was layered and wrapped with layers of valuable life lessons that I will never forget for the rest of my life. A dark TV series that has a heartfelt quality. Noteworthy!
